Hi guys,
2 problems.
I have some footage on my PC that is in .vro format and need to convert it into an avi or mpeg file so I can edit it using Premiere Pro. I have tried a couple programs to convert (super and mpeg streamclip). Both have failed miserably. Either the end product doesnt have sound or doesn't play. In either case neither will import into Premiere (which is supposed to accept avi and mpeg)
Other footage I have is .MTS files which when imported into premiere, play fine but have no sound. I found advice on the internet about changing audio hardware settings but this has not helped.
I would love to get on with editing but need to get the files into Premier first! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I remember reading somewhere that if you just change the file name to mpeg it can work. Although, that doesn't really make sense to me. Also, heard you can use this to do it wannasoft.com/Pavtube-Video-Converter/ think you can get a free trial. Hope this helps.

Thanks Gary. I will try Pavtube. It looks promising. I have downloaded and tried so many programs over the last few days to no avail. I'm just about pulling my hair out
