I have to admit that the title of this post is a bit misleading, but I didn't know what else to call it.
I went to a screenwriting workshop last Tuesday, and the leaders of the workshop were from Scottish Screenwriters. They told us that what they do is they workshop the scripts of the people who want to develop them and improve them. It's basically an informal chat where one person at a time explains their idea/plot to the group and then the others, one by one, give useful advice on how that script can be improved.
So basically I just wanted to throw that idea out there, see if others feel they would be interested in something like this, or if they feel they could benefit from it. I think it's a good opportunity for screenwriters to get more ideas and explore other possible angles that their scripts could take.
If not, then, dear Cut Board, feel free to delete this post.
